Stripe's per-transaction fee (about $0.33) eats roughly 30% of a $1 monthly subscription. Annual billing means one fee per customer per year, not twelve, which is what makes $24/year viable to run as an indie product. It also forces a yearly decision instead of a monthly one, which tends to improve retention for tools like this.
The catalogue is public. Anyone can browse the full list of 200+ Azure resource types and 568+ Log Analytics tables — useful for understanding what exists. Three hand-picked resource types (Key Vault, Storage, App Service) are also fully free with columns, category routing, and KQL starters. Columns on the other resource types are gated behind the paid plan.
Yes, from the Stripe customer portal. Your access continues until the end of the period you've already paid for. No questions, no cancellation flow, no retention emails.
It might rise for new customers later, but if you're already paying $24/year your renewal stays at $24/year. We don't run fake-scarcity promotions and we don't grandfather a price down then quietly raise it on existing customers.
